Cricket website, Cricket Yorkshire, has struck a deal to become shirt sponsor of Leeds Bradford MCCU for the 2015 season.
The distinctive green CY logo with the stump and bail will be on the shirt sleeves of the cricketers as they take on Sussex, Yorkshire and Lancashire as well as their other university fixtures.
CricketYorkshire.com is in its fifth year as a top-quality, editorial website featuring interviews with professional and amateur cricketers and coaches, personalities within the game and opinion on all the topical issues each and every week.
Whether it’s a chat with Martyn Moxon on prepping Yorkshire’s next opener or a talk with former Leeds student and now England cricketer, Kate Cross, on the growth of the women’s game (and if it’s overtaken the men), there’s something for everyone, so have a read when you get the chance.
As well as the professionals, Cricket Yorkshire continually shines a spotlight on and champions the amateur game and has interviewed hundreds of groundsmen, coaches, players, umpires and scorers from across Yorkshire.
As part of this partnership, Cricket Yorkshire has put together this website you’re navigating round now and will act as a media partner to the squad during the summer, promoting their cricketing achievements on and off the field.
John Fuller, Owner of Cricket Yorkshire said: “I’m delighted Cricket Yorkshire will be sponsoring Leeds Bradford MCCU for the 2015 season. Good luck to the playing squad and staff for what promises to be a cracking season.”
